Creates obj sequences for use in Houdini or other packages that can read cached mesh data. Can also be imported back into maya as of version 2.0. This script is useful for baking animation once it has been approved and given to the lighting and rendering departments.

aseExporter

Handles the exporting of maya scenes into the .ase format (3ds max ascii) and optionally material (.mtr) file export. Allows for creation of project presets and can either consolidate geometry at export or simply batch process a scene. I developed this for a friend who needed to get models into Doom 3. New in version 1.3--ability to export multiple meshes in one file and multiple shader support.
